Youth Training

Helping young people develop the knowledge, judgment, and practical skills to make safer, more responsible decisions around firearms and in everyday life.

Safety education should grow with the student. Intrepid’s youth programs range from foundational firearm-safety education for children to broader protector development for young people ready to take on greater responsibility for themselves and others.

Why Youth Training Matters

Young people encounter questions about safety, firearms, emergencies, and personal responsibility long before adulthood. Good training gives them more than rules to memorize. It helps them understand why those rules matter, recognize risk, make sound decisions, and develop habits that can serve them for a lifetime.

AGE-APPROPRIATE EDUCATION

Training designed around the student’s maturity, experience, and readiness—not simply adult material delivered to younger students.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

Develop the knowledge, judgment, and habits young people need to behave responsibly around firearms and other potential hazards.

GROWING COMPETENCE

Create a foundation young people can build upon as their abilities, independence, and responsibilities increase.
